L'histoire du Domaine de Ragan

Built at the beginning of the 19th century,
The Domaine de Ragan, in the Luberon, was a farm.

Bought by Mr. Cravagnolo at the beginning of the 20th century thanks to the flourishing truffle trade, this farm exploited the land around the farmhouse. An extension was built in 1948 in order to have more storage capacity for the farm's products. There were two cows, sheep and melons were grown there, among other things. Today, lavender and vines have replaced market gardening.

It was in 2000 that Martiale Bluhm bought all the buildings to renovate them and turn them into gîtes. This renovation, of which you can see some photos below, in the Provençal spirit and only with materials from the region, gives the Domaine de Ragan an authentic and unique character for the greatest pleasure of our guests.

It is because we live on the Ragan valley that the site is called Le Domaine de Ragan. The 3 cypresses in the logo mean 'welcome'. Originally, this indicated that this place could be used for drinking, eating and sleeping.

Welcome to Domaine de Ragan
